Kattrak was founded in 2005. Based in North Ayrshire, South West Scotland, we specialise in hire and sales of tracked dumpers, from 0.5t to 22t capacity, and a range of tracked people carriers. We are able to supply machines throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK. We also sell a range of new equipment and are dealers for Ammann Yanmar, Gehl and Canycom. We have in stock a range of used equipment available for sale, including wheeled dumpers, excavators and forklifts and regularly advertise in Truck and Plant Trader.
We have recently opened a second office in Dunoon, Argyll and Bute, to give us better coverage of the West coast of Scotland, thus enabling us to offer a better service to some of the more remote parts of the country. The Dunoon office has a variety of plant available, from micro excavators, telehandlers, dumpers etc. and it has a well stocked shop offering a range of workwear, tools and equipment at competitive prices.
Our team has a strong background in Plant hire and sales, with a sound working knowledge on a wide range of plant machinery. We have a well stocked workshop, offering a range of spare parts, including a variety of tracks, rubber and metal, at competitive prices. We also offer a repair service at our Yard in Kilwinning, or on site, depending on the customers requirements. We are happy to accept enquiries for all types of tracked carriers and are currently working on adapting tracked units to carry applications, such as hiab cranes, fence post chappers and scissor lifts.
